Lovran was the next city we went to. It's a cute little tourist town about 20 minutes from Rijeka(where pastor milan is from). So during the day there we would go and pass out invitations and again in the evening with the help of the church members from Rijeka. over the entire week we had about 20 new believers from Rijeka and Lovran. There was one older man who had attended mostly all of the meetings and he gave his life to Christ and the following day his entire family came to the meeting and also accepted Christ into their hearts and lives. Praise the name of the Lord.
Pazin
After we were in Knin we returned to live in Pula and daily left to a nearby town called Pazin. There we daily walked around town inviting local people to come to our church meetings as well as singing and playing worship in the public park. A few days in our week we spent in the surrounding villages of Pazin to invite more people in that way. The local church members from Pula helped us out a lot in worship as well as passing our invitations.
Knin
In the town of Knin there was a small pentecostal church already established with only one family of believers. Branko Ivana Joshua Sarah and David Delic. Their family was a great blessing to our group. They helped us daily in passing out invitations as well as driving us to and from town. Everyday during the week in Knin we held evening meetings in the church and we had quite a few new believers as well as people who recieved the holy spirit. some believers from the surrounding towns of Sibenek and Split also helped us out and attended the evening meetings.
WE HAVE ARRIVED!!
We arrived in Croatia on friday and have recieved many blessings from the very start... we first came to the town of porec and on our first night we attended a church meeting led by missionary sister Alice Shevkenek. we had these church meetings daily and many people from Porec and Pula(the neighboring city) repented and many people are going to be taking baptism this upcoming tuesday. PRAISE GOD for His amazing works!... we participated in the local church service for the first time on sunday, in Pula. After the church service about 15 people desired to pray about recieving the holy spirit and they prayed with sister Alice, the local people from the church and us and many recieved the holy spirit as well as the gift of tongues. On monday we left with sister Alice, Julia, and pastor Milan to the town of Knin to further our ministry here and we have been hosting daily church meetings in the evenings, as well as going into the streets singing and inviting people to the meetings. so far 4 people from Knin have repented and we are hoping for God to continue working through us and sister Alice here in Croatia!! God bless you all!
First Post
Well this is going to be our first ever post to our blog. It's pretty exciting to actually get something up here. It's amazing how busy we have been with all of the preparations for our mission trip to Croatia. But so far everything has been going pretty awesome even with all the minor complications and such. But we thank the Lord everyday for bringing us together for his good works. We have prepared packages that we want to send to Croatia to help us with kids ministry and youth ministry. We ask that you would all pray for us and for our group so that we can be effective in everything that we do, and so that we would be doing God's will at all times. Please pray for those members of our group who need God's blessing with their documents to be done in time, and also for our finances. Thank you so much for visiting our site, we hope that you will come back again. God Bless You!
